Dr. Naveed Akhtar joined Saint Luke's Radiology Group in 2000. He received his medical degree from the University of Karachi-Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan and completed his radiology residency in Resident House Surgeon/physician Civil Hospital in Karachi, Pakistan, Asghar General Hospital/Remedial Center in Karachi Pakistan and Maidstone Hospital in Kent U.K. Dr. Akhtar completed a Fellowship in Neuroradiolgy at eh University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, Maryland and a Fellowship in Interventional Neuroradiology at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He specializes in Interventional Neuroradiology and is certified by the American Board of Radiology in Diagnostic Radiology and Neuroradiology.
